MORE ARRESTS IN CONNECTION WITH MARIJUANA DISTRIBUTION RING
More arrests have been made in connection with a marijuana distribution ring in Butler and Stoddard Counties. 23 year old Christopher C. Gregory and 19 year old Whitney Retherford, both of Poplar Bluff, had already been arrested for their participation in the operation that reportedly delivered at least 20 pounds of marijuana per month from Poplar Bluff to Stoddard County.
Additional arrests in the case include 20 year old Brittany Retherford, of Poplar Bluff, and 21 year old Shaun Meehan, 19 year old Jason Simmons, and 23 year old Cordero Phillips, all of Dexter.
All six suspects have been charged with felony conspiracy to distribute marijuana.
Stoddard County Sheriff Carl Hefner says more arrests are expected in connection with the investigation.
