DRIVERS ON TWO WAYNE COUNTY ROADS MAY SEE DELAYS THIS WEEK


The Missouri Department of Transportation will be reducing two Wayne County roads to one lane as crews chip seal those roads this week. Work will be done today a section of Route A, from the city limits of Williamsville to the Carter County line. Work will continue tomorrow on another section of Route A, from Route 49 to Route 67. On Thursday and Friday, crews will be chip sealing a section of Route 49, from Route A to Route 67. Weather permitting, work will be done each day from 7 am till 6 pm. Each work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling through the area. For more information, call toll-free 1-888-ASK-MODOT (1-888-275-6636).
