NWS PEACE PROGRAM IS LOOKING FOR HOST FAMILIES
The NWS PEACE Program, a non-profit and CSIET (Council on Standards for International Educational Travel) approved program, is looking for families in our area to host high school students from various countries for the 2010 school year.
The students will begin arriving in August and will spend 5-10 months with the family while attending your local high school. Students range in age from 15-18, speak English and have their own medical insurance. They will also have their own spending money for things such as clothing, school supplies and entertainment.
Host families aren’t paid but may be able to claim a $50.00 per month charitable contribution on their income tax.
