SIX ANIMALS SEIZED IN STEELE IN ANIMAL ABUSE CASE
Four dogs and two cats were removed from a Steele residence yesterday morning, after a warrant was issued for suspected animal neglect. Investigators say the animals were not being properly cared for.
Erma Page, manager of the Caruthersville Humane Society says the animals were dehydrated, malnourished and unhealthy. She adds the animals are being cared for by the Humane Society until a disposition hearing later this week.
