A two vehicle crash Friday has claimed the life of a Paragould, Arkansas woman.

Authorities say 33 year old Jennifer Hill was fatally injured in the crash, which happened on Highway 412 in Green County.

They say Hill’s vehicle was struck by a vehicle being driven by 46 year old Paul Whitehead, of Jonesboro, after Whitehead crossed four lanes of traffic after losing control of his vehicle.

Two children in Hill’s vehicle were not seriously injured. ONE ARRESTED IN EARLY MORNING ARMED ROBBERY

Police in Cape Girardeau are investigating an early morning armed robbery.

According to KFVS, the incident occurred shortly after 3 am at the McDonald’s on Broadway Street. They say a male subject fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Authorities say they have a suspect in custody. An investigation is continuing to determine if any other suspects were involved. CAPE POLICE INVESTIGATE WEEKEND SHOOTING

Police in Cape Girardeau are investigating a weekend shooting.

Authorities say the incident happened shortly before 12:30 am Saturday at the intersection of Morgan Oak and South Sprigg Street. A male individual was shot multiple times and is in a local hospital in stable condition.

Sergeant Jason Selzer with the Cape Girardeau Police Department says this was the second shooting in three days in Cape. He says it is unknown at this time if the two shootings are related and that any relation between the two incidents will be looked into. MAN ATTACKED IN JONESBORO

Jonesboro Police are looking for three men after a man was attacked Saturday morning.

Authorities say a 38 year old man was allegedly assaulted Saturday morning at the intersection of Matthews and McDaniel. The victim told officers that three men beat him and stabbed him in the arm. The victim also received a broken leg.

The victim told police that he was from out of town. EAST CAPE BOUNCER SHOT AT LOCAL CLUB

A man working as a bouncer at an East Cape Girardeau club has been shot.

Authorities with the Alexander County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call from a neighbor of The Pony at around 4:30 am Sunday about shots being fired. Upon arrival, it was discovered that a bouncer had been shot in the arm. SCOTT CITY PAIR IN CUSTODY IN STOLEN VEHICLE CASE

Two Scott City residents are in custody in a stolen vehicle case.

According to Scott County Sheriff Rick Walter, 31 year old Jennifer Niswonger has been charged with tampering with a motor vehicle and stealing, and 32 year old Trevor Niswonger has been charged with possession of stolen property.

An investigation into two stolen vehicle led officers to Trevor Niswonger, who admitted to investigators that his ex-wife, Jennifer Niswonger had given him several stolen items that had been taken from the same residence where the vehicles had been taken from, and that she had admitted to stealing the vehicle.

Officers are looking for a third person believed to have been involved in the theft. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Scott County Sheriff’s Office at 573-545-3525. THREE ARRESTED IN NEW MADRID COUNTY METH BUST

Three Marston residents have been arrested after officers found methamphetamine during a search on Friday.

Authorities say the New Madrid County Special Response Team and the SEMO Drug Task Force conducted a search at 501 East Cypress Street in Marston. During the search, investigators discovered several items commonly used to ingest drugs that tested positive for the presence of meth.

Three people in the home, Christopher Barbre, Lori Cook and Joshua Brown were taken into custody. Each has been charged with possession of a controlled substance. TWO IN JONESBORO FACING DRUG RELATED CHARGES

A traffic stop Saturday morning has led to the arrest of two Northeast Arkansas residents.

According to authorities, Jonesboro Police initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of Wood and Church Streets. They say the K-9 unit alerted them that there was a controlled substance in the car.

A search of the vehicle revealed methamphetamine, pills, and paraphernalia.

49 year old Diane Johnson and 33 year old George Hill were taken into custody. A list of charges against the pair has not yet been released. SOUTHBOUND INTERSTATE 57 IN MISSISSIPPI COUNTY REDUCED FOR BRIDGE REPAIRS

Southbound Interstate 57 in Mississippi County will be reduced to one lane today as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform bridge repairs. The bridge is located on Route B over Interstate 57. Work will take place from 8 am to 3 pm. ROUTE Z IN PEMISCOT COUNTY CLOSED FOR PIPE REPLACEMENT

Route Z in Pemiscot County will be closed today as Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace a pipe under the roadway. This affected section of roadway is located from Route 412 to County Road 412. Work will take place today from 7 am to 3:30 pm. ROUTE 25 IN DUNKLIN COUNTY REDUCED FOR PAVEMENT REPAIRS

Route 25 in Dunklin County will be reduced with a 12 foot width restriction today and tomorrow as the Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs. The affected section of roadway is located between Russell Street and Route E. Work will take place today starting at 7 am, with the lane reopening at 4 pm tomorrow.
