THREE FOUND DEAD IN RIPLEY COUNTY HOME Three people were found dead Thursday in a Ripley County home.

According to authorities, the body of 32 year old Laura Coleman was found Thursday afternoon. Coleman’s two children were also found dead.

A cause for the deaths has not been released; however authorities believe it to be a murder-suicide.

  SKYWARN SPOTTER TRAINING CLASS TO BE HELD IN POPLAR BLUFF The National Weather Service will be hosting a Skywarn Spotter Training class next month in Poplar Bluff.

Officials say the class is free of charge and open to anyone who has an interest in severe weather and/or public service. The objective of the training is to provide the knowledge to identify and report key severe weather features.

The class in Poplar Bluff will be held at 6 pm on Thursday, February 23rd, at the Black River Coliseum.

Registration is required and you can register online at www.weather.gov/pah/spottertraining.

  METH ARREST MADE IN GREENE COUNTY Officials in Greene County say a man was taken into custody earlier this week on a meth charge.

Greene County Sheriff David Carter tells KWOC News that Greene County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Jimmy Haynes Wednesday morning for possession of crystal methamphetamine.

Haynes was also arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

  EARTHQUAKE HITS SOUTHEAST MISSOURI Southeast Missouri was hit by an earthquake on Thursday.

The United State Geological Survey says the 2.1 magnitude earthquake was located east northeast of Steele and had a depth of over four and a half miles.

The quake was recorded at 4:07 pm Thursday afternoon.

  ROUTE TT IN BUTLER COUNTY TO BE CLOSED FOR PIPE REPLACEMENT Route TT in Butler County will be closed today so crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation can replace a pipe under the roadway.

The work zone will be located from Route PP to County Road 451.

Work is scheduled to be performed from 8 am to 3 pm.

  ROAD CLOSURE SET FOR TODAY IN PEMISCOT COUNTY Route H in Pemiscot County will be closed today as Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace a pipe under the roadway.

Officials say that Route H will be closed from 7 am to 3:30 pm between County Road 530 and Route 164.
