MAN FACING MULTIPLE CHARGES IN CONNECTION TO FATAL BOAT WRECK
A Dexter man is facing multiple counts of boating while intoxicated in connection to a fatal boat wreck in early June.
According to Missouri Case Net, 27 year old Braden Bollinger is facing one count of boating while intoxicated – death of another, two counts of boating while intoxicated – serious physical injury, and two counts of boating while intoxicated – physical injury.
Bollinger was involved in a boat wreck on June 3rd that resulted in the death of a Poplar Bluff teenager and injuries to four others as well as himself.
Bollinger’s bond was set at $100,000, cash or surety.
POPLAR BLUFF MAN FACING METH AND MARIJUANA CHARGES FOLLOWING ARREST IN BUTLER COUNTY
A Poplar Bluff man is facing drug related charges following his arrest last week in Butler County.
According to authorities, 36 year old Justin Livingston was taken into custody Thursday night on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine.
Livingston is also facing charges of possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
SCHOOL READINESS EVENT TO BE HELD NEXT WEEK IN BUTLER COUNTY
A School Readiness event has been scheduled for next week in Butler County.
The event will be held from 9 am to 3 pm on Thursday, August 9th at the Black River Coliseum.
Children registered for the event can receive free age appropriate school supplies, including backpacks, paper, folders, and pencils. Health Screenings will also be completed for attending children.

HEPATITIS A VACCINATION CLINIC SCHEDULED FOR THIS WEEK IN MARMADUKE
Officials in Northeast Arkansas say there will be a Hepatitis A vaccination clinic later this week.
According to the Marmaduke Police Department, the clinic, for ages 19 through 60 years old, is scheduled for noon to 8 pm this Thursday at the Marmaduke City Hall.

WOMAN TAKEN INTO CUSTODY IN BUTLER COUNTY ON MULTIPLE FELONY CHARGES
Authorities in Butler County have arrested an area woman on multiple felony charges.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 33 year old Jennifer Johnson, of Poplar Bluff, was taken into custody Friday night on felony charges of possession of a controlled substance for methamphetamine and hydrocodone.
Following the arrest, Johnson was held at the Butler County Jail.
ONE INJURED IN MOTORCYCLE WRECK NEAR DONIPHAN
One person was flown to a St. Louis hospital following a wreck over the weekend in Ripley County.
Officials with the Missouri State Highway Patrol tell KWOC News that the wreck occurred at around 3:30 pm Saturday afternoon on Missouri Highway 142 near Doniphan.
A vehicle reportedly failed to yield and turned into the path of a motorcycle. The driver of the motorcycle, 50 year old Claire Hagg, of Lincoln, Nebraska, suffered moderate injuries and was transported to a St. Louis hospital.
