A 2nd resident of the Crowley Ridge Nursing Home in Dexter, who tested positive for the COVID-19 virus, has died.
According to Stoddard County officials, though the patient had tested positive for the coronavirus last week, the cause of death is currently undetermined. Additionally, of the 27 total patients from the nursing home who tested positive for the virus, five of them are currently hospitalized.
At this time, no personal information about the resident will be released.
As of 4 pm Tuesday, Stoddard County has 65 total cases of COVID-19, of those cases 36 are active.
