AUTHORITIES IN NORTHEAST ARKANSAS SEARCHING FOR MISSING BLYTHEVILLE AREA TEENAGER
Authorities in Northeast Arkansas are searching for a missing teenager from the Blytheville area.
According to the Mississippi County Sheriff’s Department, 18 year old Ashton Talley was discovered missing at around 3:50 am Saturday morning. The Sheriff’s Department says that she had received a text from a Washington state phone number at 3:16 am that morning and had responded a minute later.
Officials say that Talley is a special needs autistic student that is described as being five feet, two inches tall, weighing 135 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen at her home Friday evening at around 7:30 pm wearing a navy blue or gray hoodie with a black or gray Lynryd Skynyrd t-shirt, pink and blue striped shorts, and white tennis shoes.

BLOOMFIELD TEENAGER CHARGED WITH 1ST DEGREE TERRORIST THREAT
A teenager has been arrested in Stoddard County on a felony terrorist threat charge.
According to Missouri Case Net, 19 year old Luke Hare, of Bloomfield, was arrested last week by the Stoddard County Sheriff’s Office on felony charges of 1st degree terrorist threat and 1st degree harassment. He had allegedly made a threat at Bell City High School.
Hare’s arraignment has been scheduled for 9 am this Thursday in Stoddard County.
MAN ARRESTED FOR RAPE AND ARMED CRIMINAL ACTION
A man is facing multiple charges, including rape and armed criminal action, following his arrest last week.
According to the Kennett Police Department, on Friday a 24 year old male was arrested for Rape, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Driving While Intoxicated, Careless and Imprudent Driving, Domestic Assault, Armed Criminal Action, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
Police say that the incident began at the residence of the man’s girlfriend and escalated from there. The girlfriend was able to contact her father and they both went to the police station to report the incident.
The man, whose name was not released, was incarcerated in the Dunklin County Justice Center awaiting the filing of formal charges.
DEXTER MAN FACING ROBBERY CHARGE IN CONNECTION TO INCIDENT AT AREA BUSINESS
Updating a story we brought to you last week, an arrest has been made following an investigation of a robbery at a Dexter business.
According to the Dexter Police Department, 45 year old William Cook, of Dexter, has been arrested in connection to the strong arm robbery that occurred last Wednesday at Break Time Convenience Store.
Officials with the Stoddard County Sheriff’s Department tell KWOC News that Cook was arrested on a warrant for 1st degree strong arm robbery of a convenience store and his bond was set at $50,000 cash.
FORMER MISSOURI REPRESENTATIVE TILA HUBRECHT TO TOUR FOSTERADOPT CONNECT’S NEW OFFICES IN POPLAR BLUFF
A former member of the Missouri House of Representatives will be in Poplar Bluff today to tour the newly established office of FosterAdopt Connect.
The event, featuring former Representative Tila Hubrecht, will begin at 10 am this morning at 2198 North Westwood Boulevard in Poplar Bluff.
FosterAdopt Connect is a comprehensive support and advocacy center for abused and neglected children and the families caring for them. The new Poplar Bluff center will be holding its grand opening next month.
PAVEMENT REPAIR PROJECT SCHEDULED TO BEGIN TODAY IN PEMISCOT COUNTY
Southbound I-155 in Pemiscot County will be reduced with an 11-foot width restriction beginning today as contractor crews begin a pavement repair project.
According to MoDOT, the work zone is located from the Route 84 interchange to the Mississippi River Bridge.
Weather permitting, work is scheduled to take place today through Saturday, March 10th from 6 am to 6 pm, daily.
