POPLAR BLUFF POLICE SEARCHING FOR ARMED SHOOTING SUSPECT
The Poplar Bluff Police Department is searching for a suspect from a shooting case on Saturday.
Lieutenant Keith Hefner of Poplar Bluff Police tells KWOC News that officials responded to a shooting on Saturday, involving a 35 year old male who had been shot in the chest. He was transported to a Poplar Bluff Hospital before being flown to a hospital in St. Louis.
Investigators identified Carlow Wallace as the suspect, who is wanted for Assault 1st degree, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful possession of a firearm, and several felony warrants.
Officials state that Wallace should be considered armed and dangerous, and anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact the Poplar Bluff Police Department at 573-785-5776.
WOMAN ARRESTED IN BUTLER COUNTY ON FELONY CHARGES
A woman was arrested in Butler County on Friday on multiple charges.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 29 year old Jacqueline Dudley, of Grandin, was taken into custody on felony – tampering with motor vehicle, possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, as well as unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
She was transported to the Butler County Jail following her arrest.
MULTIPLE INJURED FOLLOWING CRASH IN DUNKLIN COUNTY
There were multiple injuries reported following a vehicle crash in Dunklin County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the wreck occurred on Highway 25, 2 miles north of Kennett, where driver Tyler Stultz crossed the center line and struck a semi-truck, totaling his vehicle and dealing moderate damage to the semi.
Stultz suffered moderate injuries, and two other occupants received minor injuries. They were all taken by ambulance to a Dunklin County hospital.
SEVERAL POPLAR BLUFF CITY MEETINGS SCHEDULED THIS WEEK
There have been several meetings scheduled for Poplar Bluff this week.
The Poplar Bluff Municipal Library will meet at 4 pm on Monday in the Conference Room on 318 North Main Street.
The City Council will meet at 7 pm on Monday in the council chambers on 301 5th Street, and will discuss multiple workshop items and action items such as determining a downtown location for a city hall building site and ordinance approving the rezoning of 1519 and 1529 Coolidge Street.
The Poplar Bluff Municipal Airport Advisory Board will be meeting at 7 pm Wednesday in the council chambers, and will be discussing the election of 2019-2020 officers, and airport improvements and compliance to standards.
POPLAR BLUFF MAN ARRESTED ON SEVERAL FELONY CHARGES
A Poplar Bluff man was taken into custody in Ripley County on several felony charges on Saturday.
According to the Ripley County Sheriff’s Department, 34 year old Kevin Wallace, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested on felony possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, and unlawful possession of a firearm.
He was also charged on unlawful use of a firearm, possession of marijuana under 10 grams, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Wallace was transported to the Butler County Jail following his arrest.
POPLAR BLUFF CITIZEN ARRESTED ON MULTIPLE DRUG RELATED CHARGES
A Poplar Bluff citizen has been taken into custody in Butler County on Saturday on multiple drug related charges.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 29 year old Jessica Crewse, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested on a parole violation warrant – possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine.
She was also charged on possession of marijuana.
Crewse was transported to the Butler County Jail following her arrest.
