DEXTER WOMAN DIES FROM CRASH IN NEW MADRID

A Dexter woman has died from injuries she received from a crash in New Madrid County on Wednesday.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred on US Highway 60 at Highway FF, where a vehicle was attempting to make a left turn, where they failed to yield, causing another driver to strike the vehicles trailer.

The driver of the crashed vehicle, 46 year old Jennifer Cox, of Dexter, was pronounced dead at the scene.

MULTIPLE ARRESTS REPORTED IN RANDOLPH COUNTY AFTER METHAMPHETAMINE WAS FOUND

Multiple arrests were reported on Wednesday in Randolph County after drugs were found.

According to the Randolph County Sheriff’s Department, authorities responded to a call on Wednesday, leading to a search warrant that lead to finding methamphetamine and a firearm, with several felony and misdemeanor warrants being issued as 11 people were taken into custody.

More information on the arrests and charges will be available as the investigation continues.

ROAD WORK SCHEDULED TODAY IN BUTLER COUNTY

There is road work scheduled for today in Butler County.

The roads being worked on are County Road 367, 604, and 602, which will be closed while MoDOT crews replace pipes beneath the roadways.

Roads 604 and 602 are scheduled to be closed today from 8 am to 3 pm, and County Road 367 is scheduled to be closed from 9 am to 3 pm.

SEARCH AREA FOR MISSING ENDANGERED PERSON FROM CARUTHERSVILLE EXPANDED

The search area for a missing endangered person from Caruthersville has been expanded.

The missing person is 36 year old Michele Bell, who was reported to have had a mental breakdown before leaving the city of Caruthersville on December 8th. She is 5’4, 105 pounds with blonde hair and green eyes, and was wearing a pink shirt and leggings on the night she left the city.

Her vehicle was reported being found near Joiner, Ark. On December 9th, on an exit ramp of Interstate 55.

Along with Missouri and Arkansas, she is now being searched after in Tennessee and Mississippi, and a reward is still being offered for her safe return.

MODERATE INJURIES REPORTED FROM VEHICLE CRASH IN BUTLER COUNTY

Moderate injuries were reported on Wednesday from a vehicle collision in Butler County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol tells KWOC News that the crash occurred on Route HH, near Poplar Bluff, where a vehicle ran off the right side of the road and overturned.

The driver of the vehicle received moderate injuries, and was transported to a hospital in Cape Girardeau following the crash.
