VOTING HAS BEGUN FOR PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY IN MISSOURI
Voting has begun in Missouri for the Presidential Primary Election.
Voters will be able to cast their votes at a number of stations statewide from 6 am to 7 pm for the primary nominations, and anyone who is in line when the stations close will be able to cast their votes.

THREE CHARGED AFTER ROBBERY IN SEVERAL COUNTIES
Updating a story we brought to you yesterday, three individuals were charged on a robbery that took place in New Madrid County.
According to the New Madrid County Sheriff’s Department, Tremayne Alford, Zackier Kelley, and Cordell Smith, were all charged on armed criminal action, resisting and interfering with arrest, and robbery.
These charges are a result of a robbery that was called in at a pit stop in Marston, where they all were involved in a vehicle pursuit before crashing their vehicle on an intersection on Highway K and A in Pemiscot County.
Another suspect, 20 year old Kirk King, drowned when he jumped into a pond in an attempt to evade custody.
More information into the robbery will be available while the investigation proceeds.
POLICE IN PARAGOULD WARN OF POTENTIAL POLICE IMPERSONATOR
Officials in Paragould are warning drivers about a potential police impersonator.
According to the Paragould Police Department, a woman reported being pulled over by a man dressed in an Arkansas State Police uniform, who then left the scene when other vehicles drew closer to them.
The man was last seen driving a Dodge Charger with blue lights, and anyone who sees suspicious behavior is asked to contact the department by calling 870-236-7621.
BUILDING DESTROYED IN STRUCTURE FIRE IN KENNETT
A structure fire was called in on Clipper Street in Kennett on Monday.
According to the Kennett Fire Department, a fire was called in early morning Monday, where a building was completely engulfed in flames by the time he department arrived on the scene. The Hayti Fire Department assisted in putting out the fire, and the building was completely destroyed in the flame.
The investigation into the fire is currently ongoing.
ROAD WORK SCHEDULED TO TAKE PLACE IN NEW MADRID COUNTY
There will be road work being performed in New Madrid County for bridge repairs.
According to the Missouri Department of Transportation, a section of Route AA in New Madrid and Scott Counties, between Route 62 in Miner and Route 80 in Matthews, will be reduced to a 9 foot restriction while crews perform bridge work and overlay.
The work is scheduled to take place between March 23rd and April 4th, from 6 am to 7 pm each day.
PUBLIC HEARING SCHEDULED IN DONIPHAN NEXT WEEK
There is a public meeting scheduled to be held in Doniphan next week.
According to the Ozark Foothills Regional Planning Commission, the hearing will discuss a draft action plan outlining the states decision on a Community Development Block Grant Mitigation, which will be moved to Missouri to assist in areas that were damaged or destroyed by the 2017 floods, as well as helping reduce future disaster risks.
The hearing will take place at 209 West Highway Street in Doniphan on March 17th, from noon to 1:30 pm.
POPLAR BLUFF ORGANIZATION HOSTING GALA EVENT
A local organization will be hosting a gala event later in the month.
The Haven House of Poplar Bluff will be hosting its 35th Anniversary Gala on March 28th, and will feature a social hour, dinner, and dancing.
