MISSING OREGON COUNTY TEENAGER LOCATED IN RIPLEY COUNTY

Updating a story we brought to you yesterday, a missing Southeast Missouri teenager has been found.

Officials with the Ripley County Sheriff’s Department, tell KWOC News that 17 year old John Scott was located unharmed on Monday.

He was found at approximately 12:45 pm on Highway 160 near Route C in Ripley County.

Officials say that Scott was returned to Oregon County. No further details were released. KWOC News will continue to follow this story for you and bring you more details as they become available.

 

MAN FLOWN FROM SCENE OF MOTORCYCLE WRECK

An Arbyrd man was flown from the scene of a motorcycle wreck Sunday night in Dunklin County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 20 year old Robert Williams was exiting a private drive when he drove into the path of an oncoming vehicle.

Williams suffered serious injuries in the wreck and was transported to a Memphis hospital. 

  

VACCINE CLINIC SCHEDULED FOR THIS WEEK IN POPLAR BLUFF

A COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic has been scheduled for this week in Poplar Bluff.

The Saint Francis Health Center will be hosting the clinic from 9 am to 3 pm on Thursday at the Black River Ambulatory Surgery Center on Physicians Park Drive.

Individuals in Phase 1B – Tier 3 and all earlier tiers are eligible for the vaccine. To schedule an appointment, call 573-381-5958.


AREAS OF PIEDMONT WITHOUT WATER AFTER LINE BURSTS

Some areas of Piedmont are without water after a main water line burst.

Various agencies participated in water handouts over the past few days, including the Piedmont Emergency Management Agency, the Piedmont City Fire Department, and the Wayne County Sheriff's Department.

Officials say that once water is restored, areas of the city north of the stoplight will be under a boil water order until further notice. 


BLOOMFIELD MAN ARRESTED ON DRUG WARRANT

Authorities in Stoddard County have arrested a Bloomfield man on a drug related warrant.

According to the Stoddard County Sheriff’s Department, 57 year old Jerry Pinkston was recently taken into custody on a Stoddard County warrant for unlawful use of a weapon, possession of controlled substance - marijuana, and delivery of 35 grams or less of marijuana.

Officials say that Pinkston’s bond was set at $25,000, cash only. 

 

ONE ARRESTED IN SOUTHEAST MISSOURI STABBING

Authorities in Miner say that a woman has been taken into custody in connection to a stabbing last week.

The Miner Police Department announced Monday that a victim was stabbed last Friday night at an area motel. The victim and a witness identified the suspect as Samantha Parker, from Texas.

Parker was arrested and a no bond warrant was issued on the charge of domestic assault 2nd. No information was available on the condition of the victim. 


DRAINAGE REPAIRS TO CAUSE DELAYS TODAY IN STODDARD COUNTY

Missouri Department of Transportation crews will be in Bloomfield today for drainage repairs.

According to MoDot, Route 25 will be reduced today from Route AA to Bloomfield Avenue from 8 am to 2 pm. At the same time, crews will also be reducing Route AA from Bloomfield Avenue to Idalia Road.

Motorists are being asked to use caution while travelling near the area.
