STODDARD COUNTY COMMUNITY UNDER BOIL WATER ORDER UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
A Stoddard County city has been placed under a boil water order.
According to Stoddard County Officials, the city of Painton is under a boil water order until further notice.
Painton residents are advised to boil their water for five minutes before drinking it or using it to cook with. It is safe to wash clothes and dishes as well as take baths and showers.
DATES SET FOR 2021 COMMUNITY DAY IN PORTAGEVILLE
The dates have been announced for the 2021 Community Day in Portageville.
The event will be held from 6 to 11 pm on Friday, July 2nd and 9 am to 10 pm on Saturday, July 3rd, at Meatte Memorial Park.
There will be live music, crafts, pageants, food, fireworks and more.

DRIVING SURFACE IMPROVEMENTS SET FOR TODAY IN BUTLER COUNTY
Missouri Department of Transportation crews will be making driving surface improvements on Route AA in Butler County today.
According to officials the work zone will be located between Route B and Route 51.
Weather permitting, work will take place from 8 am to 4:30 pm. During the project, the work area will be open to local traffic only.
AREA WOMAN SERIOUSLY INJURED IN BUTLER COUNTY WRECK
A Poplar Bluff woman was injured Tuesday morning in a single vehicle wreck in Butler County.
According to authorities, 45 year old Misty Dodson, was driving on County Road 523, two miles north of Poplar Bluff, when her vehicle ran off the right side of the road and struck a ditch.
Dodson suffered moderate injuries in the wreck and was transported to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
POPLAR BLUFF CHURCH HOSTING 5K RACE IN EARLY JULY
A Poplar Bluff Church is hosting a 5k Race early next month.
The Palace of Praise 5k is scheduled for Saturday, July 3rd beginning at 7:30 am. The race will start at the Rodgers Theater and go down Main Street to the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery. Check-in will start at 7 am.

US 67 IN WAYNE COUNTY TO BE REDUCED TODAY
A portion of North and Southbound U.S. Route 67 will be reduced to one lane today with a 15-foot width restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews repair the bridge over the St. Francis River.
The work zone will be located between County Road 509 and Business U.S. 67 in Wayne County.
Work is scheduled to take place from 7:30 am to 4 pm today.
