MAN IN CUSTODY FOR ALLEGED RAPE OF A TEENAGER
A man is in custody in Northeast Arkansas following allegations of rape.
According to an arrest affidavit, in early August the Paragould Police Department received information of an inappropriate sexual relationship between a 13 year old female and a 27 year old homeless male that had been staying in her home.
The teenager told police that the male had been staying in her home for approximately two weeks and disclosed multiple different sexual acts that officials say constitute rape by statue.
The man, identified as Blake Alexander Glover, was booked into the Greene County Jail on September 29th on a charge of rape. No bond was set and he is scheduled to appear in court today.
FOOD TRUCK FESTIVAL COMING THIS WEEKEND TO POPLAR BLUFF
Numerous food trucks will be setting up this weekend at Larry Hillis in Poplar Bluff.
The Fall Food Truck Festival will be starting at 11 am on Saturday with around 10 food trucks open for business in the Larry Hillis Parking Lot.
There will also be multiple activities for the entire family, including bounce houses, face painting, cornhole, darts, games, and live music.

FIELDS OF FAITH TO BE HELD THIS WEEK IN POPLAR BLUFF
Fields of Faith is scheduled for this week in Poplar Bluff.
Fields of Faith is a student led event where various students can pray and share their faith testimonies.
The event will begin at 7 pm on Wednesday, October 5th, at the Poplar Bluff Junior High Football field.
A free tailgate will start at 5:30 pm.
In the event of bad weather, there may be a change of location.
DATES ANNOUNCED FOR 30TH ANNUAL FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS AUTO TOUR
Officials with the US Army Corps of Engineers have announced the dates for the 2022 Festival of Lights Auto Tour.
The 30th Annual Auto Tour will be held at the Redman Creek East Campground from November 25th through December 25th.
This event is being held in partnership with the Wappapello Lake Area Association, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and River Radio. It is supported by businesses, volunteers, churches, organizations, and the community.

CULVERT REPLACEMENT TO FORCE TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PEMISCOT COUNTY ROAD
Route K in Pemiscot County will be closed early this week as Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace a culvert under the roadway.
The section of roadway to be closed is located from Route B to County Road 258 near Hayti.
Weather permitting, work will take place today and tomorrow from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
PAVEMENT REPAIRS COULD CAUSE DELAYS THIS WEEK ON US HIGHWAY 60 IN CARTER COUNTY
Westbound U.S. Route 60 in Carter County will be reduced this week as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs.
According to officials, the work zone will be located from Route M to Route C near Van Buren.
Weather permitting, work will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily, through Thursday.
