ENDANGERED PERSON ADVISORY ISSUED FOR MISSING BABY OUT OF FREDERICKTOWN
The Madison County Sheriff’s Department has issued an endangered person advisory for a missing newborn baby.
The advisory was issued Friday night for 8 day old Kai Noel Joseph Gutierrez Nickel, who was supposed to have been taken into protective custody.
Officials say that the baby’s biological mother, 28 year old Sarah Jane Diggs, is believed to have him and has not been located.
Diggs is described as a white female, five feet, four inches tall, weighing 200 pounds, with brown hair, and brown eyes.

Anyone who has information on Diggs or Gutierrez Nickel’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Madison County Sheriff’s Department at 573-783-2234 or call 911.
ADVANCE MAN SERIOUSLY INJURED IN UTV WRECK
An Advance man was injured in a UTV crash over the weekend.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 24 year old Jordan Ulichney was driving the UTV on Bollinger County Road 740 when the vehicle ran off the roadway and struck a tree.
Ulichney was flown to a St. Louis hospital with serious injuries. A passenger on the vehicle received moderate injuries and was transported to a Cape Girardeau hospital.
CLAY COUNTY SHERIFF ANNOUNCES WARRANT AMNESTY PROGRAM
A Northeast Arkansas Sheriff has announced a warrant amnesty program.
According to Clay County Sheriff Ronnie Cole, anyone having a Clay County misdemeanor warrant for unpaid fines in District Court can come to the Sheriff’s Department and turn themselves in.
The warrant will be served and you will be released and given a court date to appear in front of the Judge to get your payment plan redone.
Cole says that once the jail opens if you have a warrant for unpaid fines, you will be taken to jail and have to post bond.
MDC TO OFFER BLACK BEAR HUNTING CLASS THIS EVENING
The Missouri Department of Conservation is offering a class this evening to go over the basics of black bear hunting.
Officials say the introductory class will teach participants about black bears and what it takes to have a successful bear hunt. Discussions will include black bear biology, the permit application process, and general hunting strategies.
The class will be held online from 6 to 8 pm tonight. Participants can register for the virtual program online at mdc.mo.gov.

REPAIRS SCHEDULED FOR TODAY ON NORTH OUTER ROAD 60 IN BUTLER COUNTY
North Outer Road 60 in Butler County will be reduced to one lane today as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform edge rut repairs.
The section of roadway being reduced is located from Route W to the end of state maintenance in Poplar Bluff.
Weather permitting, work will take place from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
BRIDGE MAINTENANCE PROJECT UNDERWAY NEAR DEXTER
Route 114 in Stoddard County will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction this month as contractor crews perform bridge maintenance.
According to the Missouri Department of Transportation, the bridge is located between County Roads 725 and 737 near Dexter.
Weather permitting, work will take place from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily through Friday, May 26th.
Officials say that North and Southbound Route 25 in Stoddard County will also be reduced to one lane today, as crews perform bridge maintenance from Frontage Road to Old Highway 25.
Work will be done on that project from 7 am to 1 pm today.
