CLAY COUNTY AUTHORITIES SEARCHING FOR TWO MISSING TEEN GIRLS
Authorities in Clay County Arkansas, are searching for two missing teen girls.
According to the Piggott Police Department, a search is underway for 17 year old Elizabeth Luter and 14 year old Erica Luter, who was last seen at a residence on 16th Avenue in Piggott, at around 6 pm on August 7th.
Officials say that both Elizabeth and Erica Luter, left the residence together, but their destination is unknown.

US ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS TO HOST NATURE EVENT THIS WEEKEND IN GREENVILLE
The US Army Corps of Engineers at Wappapello Lake will be hosting a nature event this weekend in Greenville.
Storied Stars is scheduled for 6 pm on Friday, August 18th at the Greenville Recreation Area, shelter 10.
Attendees will get to learn about the stars, comets, and the moon.

CARTER COUNTY ROAD TO BE CLOSED BOTH TODAY AND TOMORROW FOR CULVERT REPLACEMENT
Route D in Carter County will be closed as Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace a culvert under the roadway.
The closure is located from County Road 125 to County Road 304 near Van Buren.
Weather permitting, work will take place today and tomorrow from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
AREA LAW ENFORCEMENT TO PARTICIPATE IN DRIVE SOBER OR GET PULLED OVER CAMPAIGN
Area law enforcement agencies are reminding everyone to not drink and drive while celebrating Labor Day.
Law enforcement agencies across Missouri and Arkansas are participating in the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over enforcement period from August 18th through September 4th.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, 13,384 people were killed in motor vehicle crashes in 2021 that involved an alcohol-impaired driver.
On average, more than 11,000 people were killed each year from 2017 to 2021 in drunk driving crashes.
MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD HAS REQUIRED IMMUNIZATIONS BEFORE THE SCHOOL YEAR STARTS
The new school year is coming up in Southeast Missouri and the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services is reminding parents to make sure that their children have the required immunizations.
Children attending kindergarten through 12th grade are required to have the following immunizations or booster shots: DtaP, IPV, Hepatitis B, MMR, and Varicella.
8th through 12th grade students are also required to have the Tdap and MCV immunizations.
