POPLAR BLUFF POLICE CURRENTLY SEARCHING FOR ARMED MAN
The Poplar Bluff Police Department is searching for an armed man.
Officials tell KWOC News that the man in question, Richard Trice, is wanted on felony warrants, and that he known to be armed.

DEXTER MAN BOOKED ON SEXUAL ABUSE WARRANT
A Dexter man was booked in Stoddard County on Monday on a sexual abuse warrant.
According to the Stoddard County Sheriff’s Department, 47 year old Patrick Hughey, of Dexter, was booked on a warrant for 2 counts of Sexual Abuse – 1st Degree.
He has no bond, and remains in custody at this time.
BLOOMFIELD DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY HOLDING MEET THE DPS DAY THIS WEEKEND
The Bloomfield Public Safety Police and Fire Division will be hosting a Meet the DPS day this weekend.
There will be personnel to meet and question, emergency vehicles on site for those curious on their operations, and lunch will be provided.
The event will be held on Saturday at the Bloomfield City Park from 10 am to 1 pm.
MULTIPLE COMMUNITY FLU CLINICS SCHEDULED FOR THIS MONTH IN BUTLER COUNTY
Multiple flu clinics have been scheduled for this month in Butler County.
Officials with the Butler County Health Department say that it is important to remember to protect yourself, family members, and the community from spreading the flu virus. Preventative measures include washing your hands and receiving a flu vaccine.
A flu clinic is scheduled for 3 to 6 pm today at the Poplar Bluff Middle School for the Poplar Bluff School District. Additional clinics will be held later this month at the Health Department as well as at schools in the Neelyville and Twin Rivers School Districts.

MAN ARRESTED IN DUNKLIN COUNTY ON METHAMPHETAMINE CHARGE
A man has been taken into custody on Monday in Dunklin County on a methamphetamine charge.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 41 year old James Bennett, of Caruthersville, was arrested on possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine.
He was transported to the Dunklin County Jail following his arrest.
CORK AND FORK ART FESTIVAL SCHEDULED FOR THIS WEEKEND
An art festival is being held at a local art museum this weekend.
The Margaret Harwell Art Museum in Poplar Bluff is hosting its annual art festival on Saturday for a night of art, food, wine, and music.
Watercolorist Paul Jackson will be donating a painting for a live auction, with half of the proceeds going to the museum.
The festival will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.
