POPLAR BLUFF MAN ARRESTED IN STODDARD COUNTY ON MULTIPLE CHARGES
A Poplar Bluff resident was taken into custody in Stoddard County on Tuesday on multiple charges.
According to the Stoddard County Sheriff’s Department, 51 year old Lee Abraham, of Poplar Bluff, was booked on domestic assault – 3rd degree, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a weapon, and unlawful possession of a firearm.
He was also charged on felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
Abraham was transported to the Stoddard County Jail following his arrest, on no bond.
INJURIES REPORTED FOLLOWING VEHICLE CRASH IN STODDARD COUNTY
Two Poplar Bluff residents were injured in a vehicle crash in Stoddard County on Wednesday.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred on Missouri 153 – south of US 60, where a vehicle ran off the left side of the roadway, overcorrected, and overturned.
A juvenile occupant in the vehicle received serious injuries, with the driver receiving moderate injuries.
The juvenile was transported by air to a hospital in St. Louis, and the driver of the vehicle was transported to a hospital in Poplar Bluff.
LOCAL WOMAN ARRESTED ON POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE
A local woman was taken into custody in Butler County on Wednesday on drug possession charges.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 33 year old Nicholle Mills, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested on felony possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
She was also charged on a Butler County Warrant on failure to appear – original charge on felony possession of a controlled substance.
Mills was transported to the Butler County Jail following her arrest.
MAN ARRESTED IN BUTLER COUNTY ON DRUG POSSESSION CHARGES
A man was taken into custody in Butler County on Wednesday on methamphetamine possession.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol tells (Station Name) News that 37 year old Dustin Wooldridge, of Doniphan, was arrested on felony possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
He was transported to the Butler County Jail following his arrest.
POLICE INVESTIGATING THEFT IN NEW MADRID
Officials with the New Madrid Police Department are currently investigating a theft.
According to the New Madrid County Sheriff’s Department, two fuel cards were stolen from a business in New Madrid on December 23rd, and have been used at several gas stations across Missouri.
The suspects were last seen driving a pewter colored GMC/Chevrolet Ext-Cab Truck, and one has been described as a middle aged black male with short hair.

STRUCTURE FIRE REPORTED IN KENNETT
A structure fire was reported in Kennett on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Kennett Fire Department, the fire was located on Bonnie Lane, and the structure was completely engulfed by the time the department arrived.
No one was injured in the fire, however the structure itself was completely destroyed by the flames.
