MULTIPLE SERVICES TO BE AVAILABLE AT HEALTH FAIR TODAY IN CAMPBELL 

Approximately 20 vendors will be available today at a Health Fair in Campbell. 

Southern Care and Comfort in Home Agency and Veteran Services is hosting the “Don't Fool Around with Your Health” Health Fair from 10 am to 2 pm today at the First Baptist Church in Campbell.

Some of the services that will be available include blood pressure checks, hearing and vision screenings, blood sugar and cholesterol checks, and assistance with completing applications for Medicaid.

VOLUNTEERS ENCOURAGED TO CLEAN UP LITTER FROM MISSOURI HIGHWAYS 

This month marks the return of Missouri’s No More Trash Bash. 

The annual event by the Missouri Department of Transportation encourages volunteers to clean up litter adjacent to highways to help beautify Missouri throughout this month. 

Officials say it has been held every spring since 2004 except for 2020. 

MoDOT will provide trash bags and safety vests to anyone who volunteers.  Regionally, events will be announced that people can come join in the litter pickup.

GUARDRAIL UPGRADE PROJECTS UNDERWAY ON ROUTE 67 IN WAYNE COUNTY 

Route 67 in Wayne County is being reduced with a 16-foot width restriction in multiple locations so contractor crews can perform guardrail upgrades.   

According to the Missouri Department of Transportation, the work zones are located from Route 34 to Route K near Lodi and from County Road 307 to Business 67 near Greenville.

Weather permitting, work will take place from 7 am to 5 pm daily through Sunday, July 17th. 


DATE SET FOR THREE RIVERS SHRINE CLUB KIDS DAY 

A date has been announced for the upcoming Three Rivers Shrine Club Kids Day. 

The event will be held from 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday, April 30th at the Three Rivers Shrine Club on Kennedy Lane in Poplar Bluff. 

There will be games, activities, and food, including hotdogs and hamburgers, all free of charge.

ALL STAR BASKETBALL GAME TO BE HELD TODAY IN POPLAR BLUFF 

High School Boys and Girls Basketball stars from across Southeast Missouri will be in Poplar Bluff today. 

SEMO Bulls Basketball will be presenting the Last Dance All Star Basketball game tonight at the ET Peters Gymnasium at the Poplar Bluff Middle School. 

Doors will open at 5:30 pm, with tipoff at 6 pm. There will also be a three point contest for both the boys and girls as well as a slam dunk contest for the boys.

Entry is $10 per person.


MISSOURI DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION TO RELEASE UPDATED HUNTING AND FISHING REGULATIONS 

The Missouri Department of Conservation has announced that updated booklets for hunting and fishing regulations will be available this month. 

Officials say that hunters, trappers, anglers, and others can get free copies of its updated booklets on 2022 Spring Turkey Hunting Regulations and Information, Summary of Missouri Hunting and Trapping Regulations, Summary of Missouri Fishing Regulations, and the Wildlife Code of Missouri. 

The booklets will be available at MDC regional offices, MDC nature centers, and other places where permits are sold. 

The booklet information will also be available at mdc.mo.gov.
