THREE PERSONS OF INTEREST SOUGHT IN CONNECTION TO SHOOTING IN KENNETT
The Kennett Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating three persons of interest in connection with a shooting investigation.
According to police officials, the shooting occurred on Thursday at “The Store” on Independence Avenue.
Officers are trying to locate Tanya Summers, Eric Thomas, and Jamison Taylor in connection to the investigation.
Greene County Sheriff Brad Snyder says that the three suspects were reportedly at a convenience store in Marmaduke on Friday. However they were unable to be found during a search.

20TH ANNUAL SANTA LAND EVENT TO BE HELD TOMORROW IN POPLAR BLUFF
The 20th Annual Santa Land event has been scheduled for tomorrow in Poplar Bluff.
According to Poplar Bluff Parks and Recreation, the event will be held on Tuesday from 5:30 pm to 8 pm at the Black River Coliseum. The portion for individuals with special needs will begin at 5:30 pm.
During the event, children will get to visit with Santa and participate in many fun holiday activities. Registration is required and there are limited time slots available.

BUTLER COUNTY WARNING SIRENS TO BE TESTED TODAY
Don’t be surprised if you hear sirens today in Butler County.
According to the Butler County Officials, the county’s outdoor warning sirens are scheduled to be tested today at noon.
Officials say that the tests will be conducted every month on the first Monday.
NUMEROUS FLOATS LIGHT UP POPLAR BLUFF DURING THE RIVER RADIO LIGHTED CHRISTMAS PARADE
Numerous spectators and over one hundred vehicles lit up downtown Poplar Bluff this past weekend.
Everyone was out Friday night for the latest edition of the River Radio Lighted Christmas Parade. In addition to the parade, spectators also took in the inaugural lighting of the Downtown Poplar Bluff Community Christmas Tree in front of the Black River Coliseum.

TWO SERIOUSLY INJURED IN SINGLE VEHICLE WRECK IN BUTLER COUNTY WRECK
Two Butler County residents were injured in a single vehicle crash Saturday evening in Broseley.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the wreck occurred when the vehicle driven by a 22 year old began skidding and overturned.
A passenger in the vehicle was also injured. The driver was transported to a Poplar Bluff hospital and the passenger was transported to a Cape Girardeau hospital.
CONCRETE REPLACEMENT SCHEDULED FOR THIS WEEK IN NEW MADRID COUNTY
U.S. 61 in New Madrid County will be reduced this week as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform concrete replacement.
According to officials, the work zone is located from U.S. 60 to Larcel Drive, near Sikeston.
Weather permitting, work will take place from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily through Friday.
