ROAD WORK SCHEDULED FOR ROUTE BB IN RIPLEY COUNTY
Road work is scheduled for over a month on Route BB in Ripley County.
According to county officials, Pace Construction Company will be performing asphalt paving, striping, milling, and other related work from 7 am to 7 pm daily through April 30th.
During the project, traffic will be reduced to one lane through the work zone. Traffic may also be stopped for up to 10 minutes at a time.
DEADLINE APPROACHING TO REMOVE ITEMS BEFORE POPLAR BLUFF STREET DEPARTMENT ANNUAL CITY CEMETERY CLEAN UP
Poplar Bluff residents still have time to remove objects they want to keep before the annual city cemetery clean up.
The Poplar Bluff Cemetery Department will be cleaning both the City and Woodlawn Cemetery’s beginning on March 11th, with the project anticipated to be completed by April 4th.
Everyone is asked to remove any flower arrangements, personal items, and decorations that you would like to keep before March 11th.
OVER WEEK LONG SHOULDER PROJECT TO BEGIN TODAY IN STODDARD COUNTY
Route 114 in Stoddard County will be reduced to one lane beginning today as Missouri Department of Transportation Crews perform shoulder work.
The section of roadway being reduced is located from City Park Road to County Road 725 near Dexter.
Weather permitting, work will take place today through Friday, March 1st from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
WOLF CREEK TRAIL RUN SCHEDULED FOR APRIL
A marathon run is coming this spring to the Poplar Bluff area.
The Poplar Bluff Kiwanis Club and US Forest Service will host the 11th Annual Wolf Creek Trail Run on Saturday, April 6th. The Half Marathon will begin at 8 am, while the 6K run and 1.7 mile walk will start at 9:30 am.
Proceeds from the event will go to Kiwanis Bacon Memorial Park.

BRIDGE REPAIRS TO BEGIN TODAY IN DUNKLIN COUNTY
Westbound Route 412 in Dunklin County will be reduced to one lane over two days as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform bridge repairs.
The section of roadway being reduced is located between County Road 557 and Route Z near Kennett.
Weather permitting, work will take place from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. both today and tomorrow.
DONIPHAN FFA TO HOST SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY APPRECIATION BREAKFAST
Doniphan FFA is hosting an event this month to show their appreciation for the community that supports their FFA Chapter.
The Doniphan FFA School and Community Appreciation Breakfast has been scheduled for 6 to 8:30 am on Friday, February 23rd.
The breakfast will be held in the Doniphan Ag Room.
