LEVEE BREAKS IN BUTLER COUNTY
Crews are monitoring a levee break in Butler County.
Presiding Commissioner Vince Lampe tells KWOC News that the break is located along Black River in an area near Butler County Road 202, south of Highway 53.
Lampe says that it appears that no homes will be affected, however crews will not be able to work to fix the breach until the river levels go down.

TWO TORNADOES CONFIRMED TO HAVE TOUCHED DOWN IN NORTHEAST ARKANSAS
Officials have confirmed that two tornadoes touched down Sunday night in Northeast Arkansas.
According to the National Weather Service in Memphis, the first tornado occurred at 11 pm Sunday in the Paragould area. The EF-2 tornado has a length of 3.56 miles and a maximum width of 200 yards. The tornado was on the ground for seven minutes and had estimated peak winds of 120 miles per hour.
The second tornado was located along the Greene and Craighead County line, west of Schug. The EF-1 tornado touched down at 11:24 pm and stayed on the ground for three minutes with estimated peak winds of 105 miles per hour. The tornado had a length of 1.26 miles and a maximum width of 75 yards.
Neither tornado resulted in any injuries or deaths.
BEACHES AND SOME CAMPGROUNDS CLOSED AT LAKE WAPPAPELLO UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
High water on Lake Wappapello is forcing the closure of area beaches and selected campgrounds.
According to the US Army Corps of Engineers, all beaches will be closed until further notice as will sites 26 through 38 at Peoples Creek Lower Campground.
Officials say that the current predicted crest for the lake is predicted to be at 367.5 feet Today.

REGISTRATION OPEN FOR 37TH ANNUAL WOMEN AWARE
Registration has opened for the 37th Annual Women Aware Conference in Poplar Bluff.

ROADSIDE WORK TO CAUSE TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF STODDARD COUNTY ROAD
Route F in Stoddard County will be closed both today and tomorrow as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform roadside work.
The section of roadway being closed is located from County Road 442 to County Road 462 near Dexter.
Weather permitting, work will take place today and tomorrow from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day.
CULVERT REPLACEMENT SET FOR TODAY IN DUNKLIN COUNTY
Route H in Dunklin County will be closed so crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation can replace a culvert under the roadway.
The closure is located from County Road 108 and County Road 128 near Malden.
Weather permitting, work will take place from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. both today and tomorrow.
