SOME DONIPHAN RESIDENTS WILL BE WITHOUT WATER TODAY DUE TO WATER MAIN REPAIRS
Some residents in Doniphan will be without water today due to repairs.
According to the City of Doniphan, the Water Department will be conducting water main repairs on Pine Street starting at 8:15 a.m.
Due to the repairs, residents on North Sycamore Street and Pine Street from Vine to Sycamore will be without water for a short period of time.
After the repairs are completed, the same area will be under a precautionary boil water notice until further notice.

PUXICO INDIANS ADVANCE TO CLASS 2 STATE BASKETBALL SEMIFINALS
Puxico will be taking the court this week in their journey for a state basketball championship.
The Indians defeated the South Iron Panthers Friday night 61-43 to advance to the Class 2 boys state semifinals.
Their semi-final game against the Canton Tigers will be played this Wednesday night beginning at 6 pm at Mizzou Arena in Columbia.
The state semifinal will be broadcast live over the radio on Today’s Talk KWOC and Shuffle 92.9. Audio from the game will also be on both stations' Facebook pages and the River Radio Youtube page.
POPLAR BLUFF MAN IN CUSTODY ON STATUTORY SODOMY CHARGES
An area man facing statutory sodomy charges will be in court this week.
A warrant was served Friday for Charlie Harrison, of Poplar Bluff for two counts of felony statutory sodomy among other charges.
According to a probable cause affidavit, Harrison is accused of having inappropriate contact with a child.
He was arrested by the Poplar Bluff Police Department and is being held on no bond. Harrison is scheduled to appear in a Butler County courtroom this morning.
BODY FOUND FLOATING IN EIGHT MILE CREEK IN NORTHEAST ARKANSAS
An investigation is underway after a body was found floating in an area creek.
Captain Jason Elms with the Paragould Police Department tells KWOC News that shortly before 1 pm on Friday, emergency services received calls of a body floating in the Eight Mile Creek.
Officers were dispatched to the scene and discovered a deceased male at the edge of the water.
Elms says that the matter is under investigation and no further details are being released at this time.
BRIDGE MAINTENANCE SCHEDULED FOR TODAY IN THE FISK AREA
Route 51 in Stoddard and Butler Counties will be reduced to one lane today as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform bridge maintenance.
The section of roadway being reduced is located from Route D to Route 60 near Fisk.
Weather permitting, work will take place today from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
DUNKLIN COUNTY ROAD TO BE CLOSED THIS WEEK
Route Y in Dunklin County will be closed early this week as Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace a culvert under the roadway.
The section of roadway involved is located from Route P to Route 164.
Weather permitting, work will take place from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. both today and tomorrow.
